BLOODSCRIBE CREATIONS
WRITER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Bloodscribe Creations is currently accepting submissions for feature-length horror, thriller, dark fantasy, and genre-driven scripts to develop, package, and shop to streaming platforms, distributors, and financiers.
To ensure a streamlined review process, all writers must follow the guidelines below.
1. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking completed feature-length scripts in the following genres:
Horror (all subgenres: supernatural, slasher, psychological, creature, occult, body, etc.)
Thriller (elevated, survival, crime, dark drama)
Dark Fantasy / Sword & Sorcery
Post-apocalyptic / Genre-mixed character dramas
Exploitation / Grindhouse
We do not accept:
Short films
TV pilots
Unfinished scripts
Treatments without writing samples
We only consider original work. No fan films or IP adaptations unless you control all rights.
2. SUBMISSION PACKAGE
To submit for consideration, please provide the following in the form below:
Required (no exceptions):
Logline – 1–2 sentences
One-Paragraph Synopsis
Bio – A short paragraph about you as a writer
5-page Writing Sample – From the script you’re submitting
Confirmation that you own all rights to the script
If requested later, you may be asked for: The full screenplay (PDF only)
3. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
If your logline, synopsis, and writing sample align with our development needs:
We may request the full script.
If selected, we will reach out to discuss an Agreement that gives Bloodscribe Creations exclusive rights to pitch and attach producers to your script for 12 months.
You keep full ownership and copyright.
You receive backend if the project sells.
You receive standard writing credit if the film is produced.
Due to the volume of submissions, we cannot guarantee notes or individualized feedback.
4. RIGHTS & LEGAL NOTICE
By submitting your materials:
You affirm that you are the sole rights-holder.
You grant Bloodscribe Creations permission to read and evaluate the submitted materials.
No partnership, obligation, or representation relationship is created unless a written Shopping Agreement is signed.
You acknowledge that Bloodscribe Creations may independently develop or receive submissions similar to your concept.
We do not accept unsolicited scripts without the above submission package.
5. RESPONSE TIME
Our typical response window is:
2–4 weeks for initial review
2–3 weeks for full script consideration (if requested)
If you do not hear back after 45 days, your submission was not selected.
6. FINAL NOTE
We champion bold, original voices and high-concept genre stories.
We want scripts that are cinematic, gripping, emotionally driven, and commercially viable.
If your work is intense, weird, fresh, brutal, stylish, or all the above, we want to read it.
